Navigation etc.

These are not apparently meant to be played as independent works ; the end of each trio contains the instruction that the first movement of the next should follow without a pause ("volti trio ...").

The indication "Volti Trio No." is simply a reminder that that performer should turn the page for the next trio. Note also the similarity between this and the indications which follow the individual movements: "Volti Rondo", "Volti Presto", etc. Keep in mind also that the manuscript above is not by the composer and is a copy likely produced well after the trios were composed as it was evidently based on first edition parts published by LeDuc (RISM A/I: D 1984), whose name is even dutifully copied onto the manuscript title page.
