Johann Pachabel’s Canon in D Major , more commonly known as Pachelbel’s Canon , has been wonderfully arranged for Flute and Piano by Tony Santorella. A favourite for chamber ensembles and musicians, its charm and tonal quality have meant that it is more popular than Pachelbel’s other larger more impressive works. It is often played slower than Baroque conventions making a thoughtful, beautiful and relaxing piece. With separate parts for Flute and Piano but is also suitable for Violin and all C instruments.
