It is set in a homophonic style and its harmony is reminiscent of the great sacred works of the last century. The tender and worshipful nature of the text is illuminated by Mr. Shipovalnikov's sensitive melodic writing. This movement is an excelllent addition to the many settings of this text, and can be used as a general anthem as well as for Marian feasts.
