As the end of the day is consumed by dusk, the nighthawk flies higher and more swiftly than one could ever imagine. Ascending to great heights, it dramatically changes direction and streaks downward to what appears to be an inevitable and violent collision with the fast approaching ground. Within seconds of disaster, it stretches out its wings and with unbelievable force swoops gracefully along the ground before, once again, heading gently toward the sky.
