Published as separate octavos, the three movements of Hodie are listed below. The gently syncopated accompaniment suggests the movement of the caravan, as the kings from the east traveled to see the King of Kings. "Beholding the star, the wise men, with great joy, came seeking for the boy. " The ethereal melody evokes the sense of wonder the magic felt as they paid homage to Jesus.
